Unmeasured Prelude in C minor - Louis Couperin

In this musical work the composer, contrary to the usual, does not specify in the score the relative durations of the notes, only their pitches.

For this reason, this type of piece is called unmeasured or non-measured prelude, since in works like this the composer grants the player a greater degree of creative freedom in its execution than the ordinary.

Composition:
Louis Couperin

Interpretation:
Juan Luis Madrigal, harpsichord
